The law is that it is legal to stop any foreginer and ask them for their foreign registration card. However it is illegal to quesiton any japanese citizen. In a country where anyone not asian looking is automatically deemed a foreigner... yeah a logn while agao since i’ve been a dual citizen for some odd 28 years…
